거창군, 제2기 주민자치회 위원 위촉

[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 31일 제2기 위천면, 마리면 주민자치회 위원 위촉식을 각 면사무소에서 개최했다.

주민자치회는 각 읍?면에 설치되어 있는 민관협치 기구로서 주민 스스로 자체 계획을 수립하여 사업을 제안하고 직접 의사결정에 참여하는 주민자치 대표기구이다.

이번 위촉식에는 지난 2년간의 임기를 마친 각 면의 제1기 주민자치회를 이어받아 위천면은 29명이, 마리면은 25명이 제2기 위원으로 위촉됐다.

구인모 거창군수는 각 면의 위촉식에서 제2기 위원들에게 직접 위촉장을 수여하고 축하의 인사를 건넸다.

거창군은 주민자치회에 대한 관심와 참여를 높이기 위해 주민자치회 위원이 되기 위한 사전 필수교육(4시간)을 누구나 이수할 수 있도록 ‘온라인 주민자치학교’를 운영하고 있다.

특히, 오는 10월 19일부터 20일까지 이틀간 ‘제4회 경상남도 주민자치 박람회’가 거창창포원에서 개최될 계획으로 거창군은 주민자치 분야의 선도 자치단체로 부상하고 있다.
