고양시는 전국 46개 지방자치단체가 참여한 ‘2022 대한민국 지방의회·지방행정 박람회(이하 의회·행정 박람회)’ 시상식에서 기초자치단체 행정부문 ‘대상’을 수상했다고 31일 밝혔다.

올해로 4회째를 맞는 의회·행정 박람회는 한국지방신문협회 주최 및 한국전시산업원 주관으로 지난 30일 개막하여 오는 9월 1일까지 사흘간 열리는 지방의회 및 지자체 홍보 행사다.

특히 올해는 박람회 개최 이래 처음으로 시상식이 열리는데, 고양시는 그간의 참여실적 및 홍보관 운영능력, 적극적 정책홍보 활동 등을 인정받아 대상 수상 지자체로 선정됐다.
이날 시상식에는 이동환 고양특례시장을 대리하여 박원석 제1부시장이 수상자로 참석했다.
