파주시는 국토교통부가 주관한 ‘2021년 공공건축물 그린리모델링’ 사업에 선정된 시립어린이집 3개소에 대해 그린리모델링 사업 준공을 2일 완료했다.
‘공공건축물 그린리모델링’ 사업은 노후 공공건축물에 대해 고성능 단열창호, 친환경환기시스템 등을 설치해 생활환경을 개선하는 사업이다.

시는 시설 노후화로 에너지 성능 저하 등의 우려가 있는 어린이집(교하노을빛어린이집, 시립문지어린이집, 선유2단지어린이집)을 선정해 공사를 실시했다.
실내환경에 민감한 영유아들이 쾌적하게 생활할 수 있는 여건을 조성하기 위해 총사업비 4억6,000만원(국도비 보조금 3억7,000만원)을 확보해 지난 6월 말 공사를 착공해 9월 2일 준공을 마쳤다.
특히 ▲지붕교체 ▲내외벽 단열설치 ▲로이복층유리창호 ▲고효율냉난방기 ▲폐열회수형환기장치 ▲태양광 등을 설치해 에너지 효율을 높이고 실내공기질을 개선했다.
하반기에는 장애아전문어린이집 등 총 10개소 어린이집(1차 공모사업 4개소, 2차 공모사업 6개소)에 대해 그린리모델링을 추진할 계획이다.
