파주소방서는 지난 30일 조재구 소방령의 소방생활 30년을 마무리하는 명예로운 퇴임식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이날 퇴임식에는 소방서 직원들의 마음을 모아 준비한 공로패와 감사패, 명예로운 퇴임을 축하하고 석별의 아쉬움을 담은 꽃다발 등을 전달했다.

조재구 소방령은 1992년 소방에 입문해 30년을 투철한 국가관과 헌신적인 봉사정신으로 도민을 위해 헌신했으며, 탁월한 리더십과 업무추진으로 직원들로부터 신뢰와 존경을 받는 선배님으로서 자리를 지켜왔다.
조재구 소방령은 “30년간 입고 있던 제복을 벗으면서 책임감도 내려놓으니 시원섭섭하다. 함께한 동료들에게 감사드리고 언제 어디서든 안전을 제일 중요하게 생각하면 좋겠다.”라고 말했다.
