고양시가 추석 연휴를 앞두고 코로나19 확산 방지 및 버스 안전사고 예방을 위해 지난 1일 버스터미널 방역관리 점검을 실시했다.

이에 시는 코로나19 장기화로 인해 느슨해진 버스터미널 방역관리에 대해 경각심을 고취하고자 주기적인 소독 및 환기, 손소독제 비치, 버스터미널 및 버스 내 승객의 마스크 착용 안내방송 실시 등을 중점적으로 점검했다.
아울러 코로나19로 인한 경영악화 속에서도 추석 연휴기간 버스를 증차해 대중교통을 이용해 고향을 방문하는 시민의 불편이 없도록 지원할 예정이다.
시 관계자는 “추석 연휴기간 버스터미널에 대한 방역·소독 상황을 철저히 감독하고 터미널 관계자, 보건소, 재난상황실 등과의 핫라인을 구축해 안전사고 등 긴급상황 발생 시 신속히 대응하겠다.”라고 밝혔다. [고양=박정호기자]
