고양시가 지난 1일 덕양구청 대회의실에서 시민과 함께하는 제5기(2023~2026) 고양시지역사회보장계획 수립을 위한 시민 공청회를 개최했다.
고양시지역사회보장계획은 2023년부터 2026년까지 4년간 고양시 사회보장 영역의 이정표가 되는 중장기 계획이다.

본 계획은 ‘오늘이 행복한 내일 도시, 고양특례시’를 목표로 ▲함께 토닥토닥 돌봄 고양 ▲모두가 편안한 웰빙 고양 ▲내 일이 넘치는 맞춤형 일자리 고양 등 6가지 추진전략과 50여개의 세부사업으로 이루어져있다.
이날 공청회는 고양시민·고양시지역사회보장협의체 위원·사회보장 시설 관계자 등 80여 명이 참석했으며 보장계획의 수립 추진 경과·전략체계 보고 및 질의응답 순서로 진행되었다.
시는 고양시청 홈페이지를 통해 보장계획과 관련된 주민 의견을 9월 20일까지 모집하고 있다.
한편 시는 이번 공청회를 통해 보장계획을 보완하고 향후 대표협의체 심의와 의회 보고를 거쳐 9월 말까지 경기도에 제출할 예정이다. [고양=박정호기자]
