고양시가 추석연휴를 맞아 9월 9일부터 9월 12일까지 휴무일 없이 행주산성을 특별 개방한다.
시는 고양시 대표 역사 명소인 행주산성을 개방함으로써 시민들에게 휴식처를 제공하고 지역경제에 활력을 불어넣을 계획이다.
관람시간은 오전 9시부터 오후 6시까지다.
입장은 관람종료 1시간 전에 마감된다.
추석 당일인 9월 10일은 특별 야간관람(오후 10시까지)도 가능하다.

임진왜란 3대 대첩지 중의 한 곳인 행주산성에서는 충장사, 행주대첩비, 대첩기념관 등의 문화재를 관람할 수 있다.
행주산성 정상에서는 자유로, 방화대교, 한강을 한눈에 볼 수 있어 야경 명소로도 알려져 있다.
또한 인근에 장어, 민물매운탕, 잔치국수 등 맛있는 음식을 먹을 수 있는 음식문화마을이 있어 가족, 친척과 풍요로운 추석을 보낼 수 있는 장소로 제격이다.
