사회복지법인(김성일 이사장)이 수탁 운영하는 녹양종합사회복지관(공완식 관장)은9월2일~3일민족고유의 명절인 한가위를 맞아 ‘제1회 녹양한가위 반딧불 축제’를 진행하였다.
‘제1회 녹양 한가위 반딧불 축제’는 한가위를 앞두고 지역의 저소득층을 돕는 기금모금 바자회 ‘나누Go가게’, 남녀노소 한가위의 정취를 느낄 수 있는 ‘한가위 놀궁리 체험부스’, 의정부시 예술단체와 주민이 만드는 ‘녹양 반딧불 문화공연’ 까지 총 세 파트로 기획되어 1,100여명의 시민이 참여하였다.

이번 축제는 ‘나눔’과 ‘소통’의 두 가지의 주제를 담고 있다.
녹양종합사회복지관 주민모임인 ‘주민운영단 1·2기 연합’이 기획에 참여하고 다양한 활동을 통해 함께하는 ‘소통’과 가성교회, 신우신협, 가능동새마을부녀회, 경기북부재향경우자문위원회, 녹양동바르게살기협의회, 녹양동새마을부녀회, 녹양동우리감리교회, 녹양동주민자치위원회, 녹양동청년지도협의회, 녹양동체육진흥회, 녹양동통장협의회, 대륙미디어, 의정부시지역상권상인회연합회, 자유총연맹녹양동분회, 지티빈스, 콘소프트, CMB코리아 등 기업 및 유관기관, 지역단체 뿐만아니라 많은 시민들이 후원활동에 참여하는 ‘나눔’이다.

축제의 마지막을 장식한 ‘녹양 반딧불 문화공연’은 오영환 국회의원, 최정희 시의회 의장, 강선영 시의원, 사회복지법인 사랑교육 복지재단 김성일 이사장, 가성교회 윤두태 담임목사, 신우신협 안종수 상임이사가 참석하였고 120명의 의정부시민이 자리를 빛내주었다.

녹양반딧불 문화공연은 주민운영단 1기 김나영·정미란 단원이 사회를 맡고 김나영예술단(김나영 단장, 이대호), 반한클래식(한마루 대표, 김신호), 두빛나래예술단(길정숙 단장), 의정부시립합창단(박헌호 지휘), 녹양우크렐레연주단, UBA밸리댄스공연단(이숙정 회장), 샘들터, 해피우먼스콰이어 등 전문예술인과 시민이 함께하는 무대로 꾸며졌다.
