고양시 일산호수공원 호수교 걷기 편해졌다

고양시 일산호수공원 호수교 하부가 걷기 편해졌다.

시는 호수교 하부 보행공간 확충사업을 완료해 보행 공간을 늘리고 보행자를 위한 휴식 공간을 마련했다고 밝혔다.

일산호수공원 호수교 북쪽 하부 공간은 보행로의 폭이 좁고 보행자와 자전거 이용객 간의 동선이 겹쳐 충돌 사고가 빈번한 공간이었다.

이에 시는 사고를 막기 위해 2월 세부 설계를 완료하고, 3월 말에 공사를 착수해 8월 보행로 확장 공사를 마쳤다.

호수공원을 이용하는 시민은 “보행로가 넓어져서 걷기 편해졌다. 걷다가 쉴 수 있는 공간이 생긴 것도 반갑다.”며 좋은 반응을 보였다.

시는 9월 중 하부 공간의 자전거도로에 시선유도봉 및 LED도로표지병을 설치해 더욱 안전한 일산호수공원을 조성할 계획이다.
