[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경상남도기록원이 8일 일본군 위안부 관련 기록물 3만7,485점에 대해 국내 최초로 도지정기록물로 지정했다.
도지정기록물은 민간기록물 중 경상남도와 관련하여 영구히 보존할 가치가 있다고 인정되어 도지사가 지정하고 보존?관리를 지원하는 기록물로 이번에 지정된 기록물은 ‘일본군 위안부 할머니와 함께하는 통영거제시민모임’(이하 통영거제시민모임)과 ‘남해여성회’에서 소장하고 있는 각 3만7,171점과 314점의 기록물이다.
