[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 국민의 힘 김태호 의원이 8일 제17회 함양산삼축제가 개최되고 있는 상림공원을 찾아 축제의 성공개최를 응원했다.
앞서 김 의원은 국회 대표단 자격으로 지난달 28일부터 에티오피아와 이탈리아를 방문해 세계 기아 및 식량문제 지원을 모색하는 등 바쁜 일정으로 인해 지난 2일 열린 산삼축제 개막식에 참석하지 못했다.
이날 진병영 함양군수와 박용운 군의회의장이 김태호 의원을 반갑게 맞은 후 직접 축제장 구석구석을 안내하며 축제장을 찾은 군민과 관광객들과 함께 추석 덕담을 나눴다.
김태호 의원은 “우리나라 대표 건강 힐링 축제로 자리매김한 산삼축제가 더 많은 관광객이 찾는 세계적 축제로 발전하길 기원한다”고 밝혔다.
