브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 더불어민주당이 14일 대통령실 관련 의혹 진상규명단을 발족했다.
민주당은 14일 오전 진상규명단 첫 회의를 열고, 윤석열 정부 대통령실 관련 의혹에 대한 진상 규명 의지를 드러냈다. 이날 회의에는 박홍근 원내대표과 한병도 단장을 비롯해 이탄희, 천준호, 최기상, 위성곤, 고민정, 김영배, 김병주, 김의겸, 장철민 의원 등이 자리했다. 참여 위원들은 회의 때 마다 바뀔 수 있다고 한다.
박홍근 원내대표는 "윤석열 대통령은 검핵관에 둘러싸여 국정을 등한시하고 여당은 내홍에 정신없는 사이 대통령실은 연일 사건 사고의 연속"이라며 "고물가·고환율·고금리로 민생경제의 주름은 깊어지는데, 윤석열 정권은 대책은 고사하고 온갖 대통령실 의혹으로 절망만 안겨주고 있다"고 지적했다.
이어 "인적 쇄신을 한다면서 기준 없는 내부 감찰로 하급 실무진만 무더기 교체하더니 욕상시, 검핵관들은 여전히 건재함을 과시했다"며 "이러니 일각선 대통령실 인적 쇄신도 국정조사감이란 주장 나오는 게 아니겠나"라고 꼬집었다.
그는 또한 "민주당은 국민적 요구에 따라 국정조사 요구서를 제출했지만, 국민의힘은 국정조사를 거부해왔다"라며 "국민의힘도 잘못된 충정으로 대통령 내외 지키기에 급급하지 말고 지금이라도 국정조사에 협조할 것을 재차 촉구한다"라고 강조했다.
진상규명단장을 맡은 한병도 의원은 의혹 규명을 위해 국민들의 제보가 반드시 필요하다고 강조하며 "윤석열 정부의 국민 혈세 낭비에 확실히 제동을 걸고 법치 문란 행위의 진상을 낱낱이 규명해 재발 방지 대책을 마련하겠다"고 밝혔다.
한병도 단장은 "대통령실 이전 관련 각 부처 예산을 야금야금 전용하면서 집무실 이전에 추가 예산을 사용한 정황이 드러났다"라며 "대통령실 이전 예산도 제대로 추계 못 한데다가 관저 공사도 김건희 여사 코바나 콘텐츠를 후원하던 업체를 수의 계약으로 선정해 특혜 의혹이 제기되는 상황"이라고 언급했다.
회의에 참석한 고민정 의원은 민간인 수행 논란, 대통령 취임식 참석자 명단 문제 등을 언급하며 "지금 계속되는 사고는 김건희 여사를 중심으로 벌어지고 있다. '움직이면 다 사고다'라는 말까지 나오고 있다"며 "더 이상의 사고를 막기 위해서라도 대통령실 재구성, 제2부속실 설치가 필요하다"고 촉구했다.
