파주시는 지난 8일 조리읍 소재 등원교에 보행데크 설치공사를 마무리하고 시민에게 개방했다.
이번 공사는 국도 1호선(통일로) 등원교에 시비 2억5,000만원의 예산을 투입해 보행전용데크를 신규 설치하는 것으로, 시민의 보행 편의를 높이고자 마련됐다.

등원교 보행로는 총연장 약 60m, 폭 2m로, 시는 이번 보행데크 설치로 주민의 통행 불편이 해소되고 보행자의 안전이 향상되길 기대하고 있다.
