이날 간담회는 산업통상자원부 1차관 주재로 개최됐으며, 경남도는 김병규 경제부지사를 비롯해 지역상의 대표 등이 참여한 가운데 기업투자 촉진에 걸림돌이 되는 제도 개선사항 등에 대한 건의와 함께, 그간 경남도의 규제개선 사례, 투자유치 계획을 발표했다.
산업부는 이번 지역투자 헬프데스크 간담회 취지를 기업투자 관련 애로 및 건의사항 등 현장의 목소리를 청취, 논의하는 시간을 가지는 것으로 이번 부울경 지역을 시작으로 전라권, 충청권, 대경권역으로 계속 추진할 계획을 가지고 있음을 밝혔다.
특히, 이번 간담회에서는 지난 8월 경남 지역투자협의회(산업부 주관)시 건의한 사항 중 ‘원전산업 회복을 위한 원전업체에 대한 보조금 지원기준 완화’ 및 ‘지역특성화 업종에 대한 지자체의 업종별 자율적 선택’이 가능토록 요청한 건의에 대해 적극적으로 검토하겠다는 답변을 받았다.
