파주시는 안전한 도로환경 조성을 위해 반기마다 시행하는 도로시설물 안전점검을 민간 안전진단 전문업체에 위탁해 지난 12일 완료했다.
하반기 도로시설물 점검 대상은 시설물통합정보관리시스템(FMS)에 등록된 교량(91개소), 터널 및 지하차도(15개소), 옹벽(2개소) 등 총 108개소이다.

이번 하반기 도로 시설물 안전점검 결과는 A등급(문제점이 없는 최상의 상태) 6개소, B등급(보조부재에 경미한 결함 발생) 84개소, C등급(주요부재에 경미한 결함, 보조부재에 광범위한 결함 발생) 18개소다.

이번 안전 점검 결과에 따라 시설물 미흡 사항들은 안전사고 대비를 위해 보수공사 우선순위를 정한 뒤, 내년도 본예산에 공사비를 추가해 추진될 수 있도록 할 방침이다.
파주시 관계자는 “하반기 안전점검 결과를 바탕으로 안전하고 쾌적한 도로환경을 위한 시설물 관리에 최선의 노력을 다하겠다“고 말했다.[파주=박정호기자]
