[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 제118회 창원시의회 제1차 정례회 본회의 산회 후 열린 예산결산특별위원회(이하 예결특위)에서 손태화 의원(양덕1,2·합성2·구암1,2·봉암동, 국민의힘)이 위원장에 선임됐다.
부위원장에는 이종화 의원(이동·자은·덕산·풍호동, 더불어민주당)을 선임했다.
예결특위는 각 상임위원장의 추천을 받아 황점복(의회운영위), 김헌일, 김묘정(기획행정위), 이종화, 남재욱(경제복지여성위), 손태화, 정순욱(문화환경도시위), 김우진, 박해정(건설해양농림위) 의원 등 9명으로 구성됐다.
이번 예결특위는 내달 5일부터 양일간 상임위별 예비심사를 거친 2021회계연도 예비비 지출 및 결산 승인의 건과 2022년도 제2회 창원시 추가경정예산안 및 기금운용계획 변경안을 종합심사한다.
창원시가 제출한 제2회 추경안은 기정예산보다 6,011억 원이 증액된 4조 3,502억 원 규모다.
손태화 위원장은 “2021년도 결산심사는 지난 1년간 예산이 목적대로 집행됐는지, 불필요한 낭비는 없었는지를 면밀히 살펴 내년도 본예산 편성에 제대로 반영하겠다”고 말했다.
또한 “제2회 추경안 심사는 민생직결사업 등 지역발전을 위해 꼭 필요한 예산이 적재적소에 편성됐는지를 중점적으로 검토해 시민들의 세금으로 운영되는 예산이 낭비되는 일이 없도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.
