쿠팡은 예년보다 이른 추석으로 판매 시기가 짧았던 제철 사과 소비 활성화를 위해 ‘사과 농가 돕기 행사’를 진행한다고 19일 밝혔다.
이달 26일까지 진행되는 ‘사과 농가 돕기 행사’는 이른 추석 및 명절 이후 위축되는 소비심리로 인해 원활한 판매를 이루지 못한 지역 사과 농가를 지원하기 위해 기획됐다. 행사를 통해 선보이는 홍로사과는 햇사과 품종으로 부사사과와 다르게 저장성이 짧으며 주로 명절 제수용, 선물용으로 많이 소비된다.
이번 행사에서는 의성, 충주, 청송, 안동, 영주 일대 농가의 사과는 물론 캠벨포도, 거봉, 샤인머스캣, 햅쌀 등 각종 농산물도 다양한 할인 혜택과 함께 선보인다. 생채기 등 외형에 흠이 있지만, 당도와 품질은 정품과 동일한 일명 ‘못난이 사과’도 합리적인 가격에 판매한다.
