고양시는 2023년 최 예정인 ‘제34회 경기도 생활체육대축전 2023 고양’에 대비해 종목별 경기장을 대상으로 지난 16일 경기도와 합동점검을 실시했다.
제34회 경기도 생활체육대축전에는 경기도 31개 시·군, 2만 여명의 선수들이 참가해 경기를 치를 예정이다.
고양시와 경기도는 합동 점검을 실시해 경기장 시설을 사전 점검하고 향후 개·보수 일정을 논의했다.

시·도 체육관계자 총 5명이 참여한 이번 점검은 내년 경기에 참여할 선수들의 편의에 중점을 두고 진행했다.
특히 야구장, 파크골프장, 테니스장, 궁도장, 야구장 등 10여 곳의 주요 경기장을 집중 점검했으며 현장에선 시 관계자의 구체적인 설명과 함께 다양한 의견이 개진됐다.
시 관계자는 “개최 예정일인 내년 10월까지 지속적인 합동점검을 추진할 것”이라며“성공적인 개최를 위해 만반의 준비를 하겠다.”고 밝혔다.
