[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 24일부터 25일까지 성산아트홀 중앙광장에서 시민 1만여 명이 참여한 가운데 ‘2022 창원 북 페스타’를 성황리에 개최했다고 밝혔다.
식전행사로 홍남표 시장의 ‘행복한 책 읽기’ 영상이 상영되었으며, 개막식에는 김영선 국회의원, 최형두 국회의원, 김이근 창원시의회 의장을 비롯한 도·시의원, 유관기관장 및 시민들이 참여했다. 시는 한 해 동안 도서관을 활발히 이용하고 가족독서를 생활화한 ‘책 읽는 가족’과 ‘도서관 유공자’ 표창장 수여식을 진행했다.
‘창원 북 페스타’는 공공도서관, 작은도서관, 문학관, 지역서점, 지역출판사 등 40개 독서관련 유관 기관이 참여한 독서체험부스와 전시부스, ‘나의 인생책을 소개합니다’, 어린이 도전! 독서골든벨과 창원의 책 낭독 콘서트 등으로 구성된 다양한 프로그램 구성으로 시민들의 큰 관심과 사랑을 받았다.

또한 시민홀에서 진행된 곽재식 작가와 홍인혜 작가특강은 평소에 만나기 어려운 작가를 통해 다양한 직업과 미래 꿈에 대해 듣고자 찾은 시민들로 가득 찼다.
