[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원시가 주최하고 창원문화재단이 주관하는 창원조각비엔날레가 오는 10월 7일부터 11월 20일까지 창원특례시 일원에서 개최된다.
전시 주제는 ‘채널: 입자가 파동이 되는 순간’으로 빛과 시간 같은 물리학적인 개념부터 입자와 파동 간의 비경계, 즉 인간과 다양한 존재들간의 순환적 생태론을 제시한다.
전시는 본전시 1,2와 특별전 1,2로 구성되며 본전시에는 26개국 90명의 초대작가가 참여하고 조각·설치·미디어 작품을 포함해 140여점 이상의 작품이 전시된다.
전시 장소로는 성산아트홀을 비롯해 진해 흑백다방, 중원로터리, 창동예술촌 아트센터, 3·15해양누리공원과 같은 창원특례시의 역사·문화적인 공간이 선정됐다.
또 사이버 비엔날레인 본전시2와 창원지역작가들의 작업장을 공개하는 방식의 특별전1 오픈스튜디오, 레지던시의 의미를 재조명하는 특별전2 국경 없는 예술 사랑방으로 다채로운 전시를 기획했다.
한편 전시 주제와 관련해 강연을 마련한 시민강좌, 국내·국제 학술 심포지엄과 더불어 감독·큐레이터와 함께 하는 전시 투어 프로그램도 마련되어 있어, 시민들의 참여 기회가 풍부하게 마련된 전시가 기대된다.
