[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 산청군은 오는 30일 금서면 동의보감촌 내 ‘치유의 숲’을 개장, 본격 운영에 들어간다.
‘산청 치유의 숲’은 지난 2016년부터 2021년까지 55㏊ 부지면적에 50억원을 투입 산림치유센터와 치유숲길로 조성됐다.
동의보감촌 최상단에 위치해 산림 치유 프로그램을 받기에 최적의 장소로 손꼽힌다.
특히 국내 최고 힐링의 메카로 자리잡고 있는 동의보감촌과 시너지 효과가 기대된다.
숲 내에 건립된 치유센터는 건강측정실, 치유체험실, 강의실 등이 마련돼 탐방객들의 휴식과 건강 회복을 담당할 예정이다.
이번 개장은 30일부터 시작되는 ‘제22회 산청한방약초축제’에 맞춰 진행돼 축제도 즐기고 숲에서 힐링도 할 수 있는 일석이조의 효과를 거둘 것으로 보인다.
치유의 숲 관련 프로그램 신청은 산청 치유의 숲 홈페이지에서 사전예약하면 된다.
프로그램 소요 시간은 2시간에서 2시간 30분정도로 올해까지 무료로 운영된다.
앞서 산청군은 완성도 높은 고품질 치유프로그램을 제공하기 위해 지난 6~7월 치유프로그램 시범운영한 바 있다.
참가자들의 이용 만족도 및 개선점 조사를 실시해 의견을 수렴 프로그램 질을 높인데 힘을 쏟았다.
산청군 관계자는 “코로나19로 지친 몸과 마음을 산청 치유의 숲 치유프로그램을 통해 회복하길 바란다”고 말했다.
한편 2023세계전통의약항노화엑스포가 개최되는 동의보감촌은 출렁다리 힐링교 개통 등 인프라 구축은 물론 산청 웰니스헬스투어 등 다양한 프로그램을 운영하고 있다.
