[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 박완수 경상남도지사는 28일 오전 통영 평림생활체육공원에서 ‘제21회 경상남도 수산업경영인대회’에 참석해 한국수산업경영인 경상남도연합회 회원들을 격려했다.
수산업경영인대회는 한국수산업경영인 경상남도연합회에서 주관하고 지역 수산업의 경쟁력 향상과 수산업의 지속가능한 발전을 도모하며 수산업 경영인들의 화합과 결속을 다지고자 마련됐다.
기념식에는 박완수 경상남도지사, 정점식 국회의원, 송상근 해양수산부차관을 비롯한 유관기관?단체장, 수산업 경영인 및 가족 2,000여 명이 참석했다.

이날 행사는 ‘미래 100년의 수산1번지 경남! 수산업경영인으로부터 시작!’ 이라는 슬로건으로 수산기자재 홍보, 지역특산물 전시.판매, 수산업경영인 한마음 체육대회와 노래자랑, 축하공연 등 다양한 프로그램으로 진행됐다.
대회에 참석한 수산업경영인연합회 회원들은 미래 수산업을 선도해 나가는 주역으로 자율적인 수산자원 관리와 경영혁신을 통한 ‘풍요로운 수산업, 활기찬 어촌 건설’에 앞장서기로 결의했다.
경남의 수산업과 어촌발전을 위해 노력해온 정두한 멍게수하식수협장이 경남수산인상을 수상했고, 수산업경영인과 수산 관계자 90여 명이 해양수산부장관상, 경상남도지사상, 경남도의회의장상, 통영시장상 등 수상의 영광을 누렸다.
박완수 도지사는 “어업환경 변화에 대한 능동적인 대처로 어촌발전의 선도적 역할을 해온 수산인 가족 여러분들께 감사드린다”며 “어업분야 보조사업, 연합회 운영 지원 등에 지속적으로 관심을 가지는 한편, CPTTP 가입, 해상풍력 발전사업 등 각종 현안에 대해서도 수산인 여러분들과 함께 고민해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
이어 “경남도는 활력 넘치는 어촌 조성을 위해 수산업 육성과 경쟁력 제고에 노력을 기울이겠다”고 덧붙였다.
