고양시와 해븐리병원(원장 이은아)이 9월 27일 치매환자 원예치료 서비스 및 치유농업 활성화를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.

고양시와 해븐리병원은 치매환자를 대상으로 하는 치유프로그램 개발 및 치유농업 적용에 관한 분석과 효과검증 연구 등에 대해 협력할 예정이다.
이번 협약을 시작으로 병원 내원환자 및 보호자를 대상으로 하는 원예치유 프로그램을 추진한다.
또한 사전·사후 검사를 통한 치유 효과를 관련 학회지에 게재할 예정이다.
농업기술센터 관계자는 “치유농업을 추진함에 있어 가장 큰 쟁점은 치유효과에 대한 과학적 근거와 의료계 치유효과 입증”이라며 “양 기관이 협력하여 성과를 거둘 수 있기를 바란다.”고 말했다. [고양=박정호기자]
