[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 강기윤 의원은 29일 국회에서 열린 ‘국민 중심 코로나19 방역 관련 당·정 협의회’에서 코로나19 확진자가 감소세에 있는 만큼 국민 불편을 야기하는 방역 조치를 해제하는 데 당·정이 뜻을 모았다고 밝혔다.
당·정은 많은 의료진과 국민의 헌신적 참여로 코로나 확산세가 5주 연속 감소하고 있고, 코로나 발생 후 처음으로 일률적인 사회적 거리두기 없이 코로나 유행에 대응했음에도 사망자 수가 직전 유행 대비 1/5수준인 점 등을 들어 코로나 19 대비가 과학적으로 성공하고 있다고 평가했다.
이에 국민의힘은 OECD 국가 중 우리나라만 유일하게 시행하고 있는 입국 후 PCR 검사를 폐지하고, 요양병원에서 손씻기, 마스크 착용 등 철저한 방역 하에 요양병원 대면 면회를 허용하고, 유치원·어린이집·초등학교 등의 시설을 중심으로 아동의 언어발달에 제약이 되는 실내마스크 착용 해제를 우선 검토해 코로나 재유행 가능성에 철저한 대비 등을 정부에 요청했다.
