[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 다양한 해양레저스포츠 대회가 진해와 마산 해상 일원에서 풍성한 볼거리로 펼쳐진다.
창원특례시는 오는 15일~30일까지 다양한 해양레저스포츠 대회를 3년 만에 진해구 진해 해양레포츠센터와 마산합포구 3·15 해양누리공원 앞 해상 일원에서 개최한다고 밝혔다.
시가 후원하고 창원시 요트협회와 대한드래곤보트협회가 각각 주최하는 이번 대회는 다양한 해양레저스포츠 대회와 풍성한 볼거리로 진행될 예정이다.
15일부터 16일까지 개최되는 제8회 창원시 요트협회장배 전국 동호인 요트대회는 대회 전날인 14일 요트 등록계측을 시작으로, 대회 첫날인 15일에는 개회식, 스키퍼미팅, 1일차 딩기요트 3경기, 크루저요트 3경기가 개최된다.
16일에도 각각 3경기가 개최될 예정이다. 또한 요트경기 특성상 경기장면을 가까이서 볼 수 없는 것을 감안해 선수들의 흥미진진한 경기를 직접 관람할 수 있도록 관람정을 운영할 계획이다.

이어 마산국화축제와 연계해 개최되는 2022 창원 드래곤보트대회는 29일부터 30일까지 마산합포구 3·15해양누리공원 앞 해상에서 개최된다.
드래곤보트대회는 12인승 250m 경기와 밀어내기 경기가 2일 동안 개최된다.
개회식 당일 29일 3·15해양누리공원 야외 중앙무대 일원에서는 다양한 문화행사가 국화축제와 연계 진행되어 찾아오시는 창원시민과 관광객에게 특별한 추억이 선사 될 것으로 보고 있다.
