KT&G가 미래에셋과 ‘신성장투자조합1호’를 결성하고 신사업투자에 본격나섰다.
11일 KT&G에 따르면 KT&G와 미래에셋은 지난 7일 각각 200억원씩 출자해 총 400억원 규모로 ‘신성장투자조합1호’를 출범시켰다.
양사는 1호 펀드의 운영 성과에 따라 후속 펀드도 조성해 미래 신수종 사업 발굴을 위한 기반을 확대할 방침으로 알려졌다.
펀드 운용은 미래에셋캐피탈이 맡으며, 투자기간과 존속기간은 각각 4년, 10년이다. KT&G와 미래에셋캐피탈은 신사업 분야 검토, 투자대상 발굴, 투자 집행 등의 과정에서 상호 협력할 예정이다.
KT&G는 미래에셋과의 전략적 매칭펀드를 통해 회사의 미래 성장 동력을 모색하고 키워나간다는 전략이다.
