브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 최재해 감사원장이 11일 윤석열 정부의 용산 대통령실 이전과 관련해 "적절한 시점에 감사할 생각을 갖고 있다"고 밝혔다.
최재해 원장은 이날 국회 법제사법위원회 감사원 국정감사에서 박주민 더불어민주당 의원이 '대통령실 이전 예산 규모가 크고, 예산 집행의 여러 과정도 불명확하다'고 질의하자 "지금 저희가 모니터링 하고 있다"며 이같이 말했다.
박주민 의원이 대통령실 이전 비용이 496억원이었는데, 다른 부처 예산 300억원을 끌어오는 등 비용이 늘었다는 점과 대통령실 리모델링 공사 수주계약을 맺은 영세업체가 김건희 여사의 코바나콘텐츠 후원사인 것을 아느냐고 묻자, 최 원장은 "알고 있다"고 답했다.
대통령실 이전 비용과 관련, 민주당측에선 합동참모본부 이전 등에 소요될 국방부 예산 7980억원과 용산공원 조성 예산 483억원 등 총 1조원에 달한다고 주장하고 있다.
반면 기획재정부는 대통령실 이전과 관련한 직접 비용은 집무실 이전비 496억원과 관저 공사면적 증가에 따른 21억원 등 총 517억원에 불과하다고 해명하고 있다.
