[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 의창구청 신청사 건립공사가 9월 말 준공됨에 따라 오는 21일부터 주말을 이용해 부서별로 이전을 시작해 24일부터 신청사에서 민원업무를 시작한다고 20일 밝혔다.
김화영 자치행정국장은 신청사 이전을 앞두고 마무리 공사인 환경정비 중인 청사를 점검하고 시민들의 불편함이 없도록 시설물 안전관리와 함께 쾌적한 환경이 조성될 수 있도록 청사 환경정비에 최선을 다해 달라고 주문했다.
아울러 21일 오후 6시부터 2주 동안 주말을 이용해 부서가 순차적으로 이사를 하는 만큼 시민들의 방문민원 처리에 불편이 없도록 민원 안내에도 만전을 기해 줄 것을 당부했다.

현재 사용 중인 의창구 청사는 리모델링 후 명곡동사무소로 환원하고 2별관은 푸른도시사업소가 이전할 계획이다.
한편 의창구청 신청사는 의창구 도계동 468번지 일원에 연면적 13,315㎡, 지하2층 지상4층으로, 지난 2020년 4월 착공해 2년 5개월만인 지난달 30일 준공했다.
