[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 25일 도시재생 협치포럼으로부터 우수지차체 및 주거복지 삶의 질 향상 ‘제4회 2022 대한민국도시혁신산업박람회’에서 표창을 받은데 이어 26일에는 경찰청과 중앙일보가 공동주최하는 제7회 대한민국 범죄예방대상에서는 CPTED(환경개선을 통한 주민의 안전한 생활공간 조성)부문 최우수 기관으로 행정안전부 장관 표창을 받았다.
대한민국 범죄예방대상은 지역의 안전과 치안을 위해 힘쓴 기관과 단체의 활동을 격려하고 자발적인 참여 의지를 끌어내기 위해 시작되었으며, 매년 공공기관과 사회단체, 기업 등을 선정해 시상한다.
