브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 오세훈 서울시장이 1일 이태원 참사와 관련 "시민의 생명을 안전을 책임지는 서울시장으로 이번 사고에 대해 무한한 책임을 느끼며 깊은 사과의 말씀 드린다"며 눈물을 보였다.
오세훈 시장은 이날 오후 서울시청 2층 브리핑룸에서 가진 입장발표에서 "유가족과 부상자, 모든 시민들이 일상회복할 때까지 모든 행정력을 투입해 최선을 다하겠다"며 이같이 밝혔다.
이어 "현재 장례를 치르고 있는 유가족에게 전담 공무원을 배치해 도와주고, 전문가 심리 치료도 지원하겠다"고 말했다.
네덜란드 출장에서 급히 돌아온 그는 "사실 어제까지는 경황이 없었다. 귀국 첫 날 현장을 방문하고 병원을 방문하고, 아시다시피 회의가 연이어 있었고, 치료 받고 계신 분들 찾아 뵙느라 정말 경황이 없었다"고 운을 뗐다.
