[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원 주남저수지 인근 봉곡저수지에서 지난달 27일 채취한 야생조류 분변 검사로 검출된 고병원성 조류인플루엔자(H5N1형)가 31일 확진됐다.

이에 따라 2일부터 고병원성 AI 해제 시까지 주남저수지 탐방로 및 생태학습시설(람사르문화관, 탐조대, 생태학습관)의 출입을 전면 차단한다고 창원시는 밝혔다.

시는 주남저수지 일원 사람이 출입 가능한 탐방로 및 인근 농로 일원에 현수막과 안내판 등으로 통제표시를 하고 주요 지점에 근무인원을 배치하여 AI확산 방지를 위해 힘쓸 예정이다.

이도명 주남저수지과장은 “생태자연 경관이 우수하고 겨울철새 도래시점에 출입을 차단을 하게되어 매우 안타까운 심정이나, 시민들의 안전과 조류인플루엔자(AI) 차단 및 확산방지를 위함으로 다소 불편하시더라도 적극적인 협조를 당부드린다”고 전했다.
