[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 김해농악보존회(단장 천승호)가 제63회 한국민속예술제에 경상남도 대표로 참가해 ‘우수상’을 수상했다.
문화체육관광부가 주최한 제63회 한국민속예술제는 한국 전통민속예술을 발굴하고 보존하기 위해 매년 개최하는 대회로 코로나19 영향으로 3년만에 충남 공주시 고마아트센터에서 지난달 28일부터 30일까지 개최됐다.
이번 대회에는 각 시도의 민속예술을 대표하는 일반부 21팀과 청소년부 9팀이 참가해 열띤 경연을 펼쳤다.
특히, 경상남도 대표로 출전한 김해농악보존회의 ‘신월지신밟기’는 집터를 지키는 지신의 심술궂은 기운을 눌러주며 한해의 무운과 풍년을 기원하는 세시풍속으로 김해농악보존회 단원 50여명이 혼연일체가 되어 경연을 펼쳤다.
