고양시, 생활체육대회 안전관리강화 추진으로 시민 안전 확보

고양시는 이태원 사고와 관련하여, 고양시에서 개최하는 모든 생활체육대회에 강화된 안전관리 계획을 통해 시 체육부서, 체육회 및 장애인체육회 임직원 뿐 아니라 각 종목별 협회 관계자도 스포츠 안전재단에서 제공하는 스포츠 안전 관련 온라인 강의를 의무적으로 수료하게 할 계획이라고 3일 밝혔다.

또한 체육대회 보조금 신청 시 각종 안전항목 사전 점검, 안전준수 서약서와 안전요원 배치계획서 제출, 주최자 배상 책임공제 및 선수보험 의무가입 등 자체 강화 기준을 마련하기로 하고 체육회 및 장애인체육회에서 주최하는 120여개의 체육대회 개최 시 안전강화계획서 내의 각종 항목이 미반영되거나 준비가 미흡할 경우 보조금 삭감 등의 조치를 취할 예정이다.
