브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 북한이 4일 한미 대규모 연합공준훈련인 '비질런트 스톰(Vigilant Storm)' 기간이 내일까지 연장된데 대한 반발의 성격으로 180여 대의 군용기를 출격시켰다.
합동참모본부는 이날 오전 11시부터 오후 3시까지 북한 군용기 약 180여대의 비행항적을 식별해 대응 조치했다고 밝혔다.
북한 군용기들은 전술조치선 이북의 내륙과 동해, 서해상 등 다수 지역에서 활동했다.
이에 우리 공군은 최신예 전투기인 F-35A 등 80여 대의 공중전력을 긴급 출격하는 한편, 후속 지원 전력과 방공망 등을 준비하며 만반의 대응 태세를 갖췄다.
또한 '비질런트 스톰' 훈련에 참가 중인 미군의 항공전력 240여 대도 계획대로 운용하면서 대비태세를 갖췄다.
합참 관계자는 "한미 간 긴밀한 공조 하에 북한군의 관련 동향을 예의주시하면서 추가 도발에 대응하고 있다"고 설명했다.
