창원특례시는 3일 주한덴마크대사관저에서 열린 ‘2022 한국-덴마크 그린수소 협의체 워크샵(2022 Workshop for Members of Korea-Denmark Green Hydrogen/PTX Alliance)’에 양희창 방산·원자력특보, 류효종 미래전략산업국장 등이 참석해, 아이너 옌센 주한덴마크대사로부터 창원의 수소산업 역량에 대해 호평을 받고, 창원과 덴마크의 주요 대학 및 기업 간 수소 비즈니스 교류를 적극 추진하기로 했다고 4일 밝혔다.
덴마크 정부는 풍부한 풍력에너지를 열, 메탄, 수소 등의 다른 에너지(X)로 변환해, 저장하는 Power-To-X(이하 PTX) 프로젝트를 집중적으로 추진하고 있으며, 특히 풍력에너지로 수전해를 통한 수소에너지를 공급하는 프로젝트를 통해 2030년까지 5만 3천여 개의 일자리 창출을 목표로 하고 있다.
