충남도가 제22회 유관순상?유관순횃불상 후보자 접수를 12월 22일까지 받는다.
충남도와 이화여고, 동아일보사가 공동 주관하는 유관순상·유관순횃불상은 조국 독립에 앞장선 유관순 열사의 숭고한 애국·애족 정신을 시대에 맞게 구현하고 있는 여성을 선발해 시상한다
충남도에 따르면 유관순상위원회(위원장 김태흠 충남도지사)는 다음달 22일까지 제22회 유관순상·유관순횃불상 후보자를 추천 받는다고 6일 밝혔다.
유관순상 후보자의 자격 요건은 대한민국 여성으로서 유관순 열사의 정신과 삶을 이 시대에 맞도록 구현한 여성 ,인간의 존엄성을 높이고 사회정의를 실현한 여성 ,사회봉사와 협동 실천으로 국민화합에 헌신한 여성 등이며, 단체에 대한 추천도 가능하다.
유관순횃불상은 대한민국 국적을 가진 전국의 고등학교 1학년 여학생 가운데 △유관순 열사의 정신을 국내·외에 선양·구현한 학생 △학교·사회에서 건전한 학생문화를 창조·구현한 학생 등 자격 기준에 따라 선정한다.
유관순상위원회는 내년 2월까지 추천 후보자를 대상으로 심사위원회 서면·현지 심사를 거쳐 수상자를 확정하고, 3월 중 시상식을 개최할 예정이다.
유관순상 수상자는 상장과 트로피, 2000만 원의 상금을 부상으로 받게 되며, 유관순횃불상 수상자는 상장과 150만 원 상당의 상금을 부상으로 받는다.
