[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도내 가을철 단감 수확과 농작물 파종, 이식 작업 등 농촌일손돕기 인력 확보에 어려움을 겪고 있는 가운데 경남도가 앞장섰다.
경상남도는 본격적인 가을 영농철을 맞아 노동력 확보에 어려움을 겪고 있는 농가를 지원하기 위해 8일 김해 진영에서 농촌일손돕기를 실시했다.
이날 농촌일손돕기는 박완수 도지사를 비롯 도청, 농협경남지역본부, 한국농어촌공사경남지역본부 직원 120여 명이 참여한 가운데 수작업 인력이 많이 필요한 단감 수확을 진행했다.
경남도는 지난 10월 12일부터 11월 25일까지 ‘농촌일손돕기 추진기간’으로 정하고 도와 시·군, 농협에 농촌일손돕기 알선창구를 설치해 부족한 인력을 지원 중에 있다.
특히 올해는 지난해 대비 4억 원이 증가한 18억 원을 투입해 도내 15개 시군에 농촌인력중개센터 인력에 대한 인건비와 인력 중개에 필요한 비용을 지원하고 있다.

또 농촌인력중개센터의 확대 운영으로 현재까지 16만 4천여 명의 인력을 연결시켜 영농이 적기에 가능하도록 했다.
일손이 필요한 농가에서는 경상남도 누리집 배너와 각 시군 농업기술센터, 농협의 일손돕기 추진센터를 통해 도움을 받을 수 있다.
경남도는 농협, 농어촌공사 등 농업 관계기관과의 공조 체계를 이어나가며, 합동일손돕기를 적극적으로 추진해 나갈 계획이다.
