[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 김진부 경남도의회 의장은 대한민국시도의회의장협의회 수석부회장 자격으로 11일 부산 벡스코에서 개최된 제1회 대한민국 지방시대 엑스포 기념식에 참석했다고 14일 밝혔다.
이날 기념식에는 한덕수 국무총리, 우동기 균형발전위원회위원장, 박형준 부산시장, 16개 광역 시·도 부단체장, 지방 3대 협의체장 등이 주요인사로 참석했다.
균형발전위원회 주관의 이번 행사는 기존의 지방자치박람회와 균형발전박람회를 통합해, 제1회 대한민국 지방시대 엑스포로 10일부터 12일까지 3일간 개최됐다.
협의회에서는 ‘지방의회의 위상정립 방안’을 주제로 박기관 전 대통령직인수위원회 지역균형발전특별위원회 위원을 좌장으로 정책 컨퍼런스를 개최했다.

‘지방시대 실현을 위한 지방분권 강화에 따른 지방의회 개혁방안’을 주제로 박노수 서울시립대 교수, ‘지방분권 확대에 따른 지방의회 사무기구 역량강화 방안’을 주제로 김건위 한국지방행정연구원 연구위원의 발표가 이어졌다.
김진부 협의회 수석부회장은 개막식에서 “기존의 지방자치박람회와 균형발전박람회가 제1회 대한민국 지방시대 엑스포로 통합하여 성대하게 개최되었다” 며, “어디에 살든 균등한 기회를 누리는 자유·공정·희망의 지방시대가 꼭 실행되기를 기대한다”고 말했다.
