박완수 도지사, 주한 헝가리 신임대사 접견

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 박완수 경상남도지사는 14일 도청 접견실에서 세르더헤이 이슈트반(Szerdalheyi Istvan) 주한 헝가리 신임대사를 접견하고 환담을 나눴다.

신임대사는 지난 9월 주한 헝가리 대사로 부임해, 헝가리 페이르주와 친선결연을 맺고 있는 경남도를 직접 방문, 박 도지사와 축하 인사를 나누며, 우호교류 발전 방안을 논의했다.

박 도지사는 “헝가리는 동유럽 국가 중 최초로 1989년에 대한민국과 외교관계를 수립한 이후 경제와 문화 교류가 이어져왔다”며 “앞으로도 경남과 페이르주의 우호관계를 지속적으로 강화하는 데 함께 하기를 기대한다”고 말했다.

이에 세르더헤이 대사는 최근 헝가리에 진출한 한국기업을 높게 평가하고, “코로나 19가 종결되는 시점에서 양국 간의 활발한 인적교류에 물꼬를 트는 계기가 될 것”이라며 화답했다.

이어 박 도지사는 “헝가리에 진출한 지역기업을 위한 경남도의 역할이 중요하다”며 “경남과 페이르주, 나아가 양국의 기업과 경제단체를 통해 경제 교류를 활성화하는 계기가 되기를 바라며, 경남의 다양한 축제를 활용해 관광문화 분야의 교류를 지속 추진하는 데 협력해 나갈 것”을 제안했다.
