[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원시 여성단체협의회는 23일 여성회관 창원관에서 ‘사랑의 김장 나눔’ 행사를 개최하고 지역 내 소외계층과 복지시설에 김장김치를 전달했다고 밝혔다.
이날 행사는 30여 명의 창원시 여성단체협의회 회원들이 참여한 가운데 김장김치를 비롯한 돼지고기, 겨울 이불 등 성품을 준비해, 어려운 이웃 120세대와 복지시설 66개소가 따뜻한 겨울을 보낼 수 있도록 사랑을 전했다.
창원시 여성단체협의회는 매월 넷째주 수요일에 여성단체회원들이 직접 조리한 반찬을 부자세대 등 소외계층 120세대에 전달하는 등 도움을 필요로 하는 곳곳에서 봉사활동을 펼치고 있다.
김필운 창원시 여성단체협의회장은 “추운 겨울을 앞두고 주민들과 따뜻한 마음을 나누고자 매년 김장 나눔을 하고 있으며, 정성껏 준비한 김장김치가 어려운 이웃들이 겨울을 나는데 작은 도움이 되길 바란다”고 말했다.
