미래예측학자인 소재학 교수측은 보도자료에서 “연세대학교 외식산업 최고위과정에서는 지난 15일 미래예측학자이며 대한민국 미래예측학박사 1호인 소재학 교수를 초청해 ‘예측 가능한 미래와 활용 가능한 미래’라는 주제로, 동양미래예측학 특강을 진행 했다”고 전하고 “연사로 초청된 소재학 교수는 연세대학교 신촌캠퍼스 삼성관에서 15:50 ~ 17:50분까지 약 2시간 동안 진행된 동양미래예측학 특강에서 ‘자신만의 타이밍, 때를 찾는 법’, ‘현대 사주명리학과 풍수지리 원리와 허실, 활용법’ 등의 주제에 대하여 자연과학적 원리 위주로 아주 쉽게 설명하고, 청중들도 참여시키며 재미있게 진행하여 뜨거운 갈채를 받았다”고 알렸다.
