브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 포스코 양대 노동조합 중 하나인 포스코지회가 전국민주노동조합(민주노총) 금속노조의 탈퇴를 추진하고 있다.
포스코지회는 금속노조 지회 형태에서 벗어나 기업형 노조로 전환을 원하고 있다.
30일 포스코에 따르면 포스코지회는 지난 28일부터 민주노총 탈퇴를 위한 조합원 찬반 투표를 진행하고 있다. 전체 조합원 264명 중 과반 이상이 참석해서 이 중 3분의 2가 찬성하면 가결된다.
포스코지회는 앞서 지난 3~4일 탈퇴 찬반 투표를 실시했다. 당시 탈퇴 찬성 조합원은 66.9%를 기록하며 가결됐다.
하지만 상급단체인 금속노조측에서 이의를 제기했고, 고용노동부가 이를 받아들여 투표일 7일 전까지 공지해야 한다고 함에 따라 재투표를 실시하고 있다.
포스코지회는 지난 23일 입장문을 통해 "노동조합의 존재 이유는 조직의 기득권 유지가 목적이 아니고 직원을 위하는 것"이라며 "포스코지회 대다수 조합원은 노동조합의 조직형태 변경을 찬성하고 있다"고 밝혔다.
또한 "금속노조를 위해 일하지 않고 포스코 직원들을 위해 일한다는 이유로 포스코 직원이 직접 선출한 지회장, 수석부지회장, 사무장을 제명하고 집행부와 대의원을 징계하고 있다"고 비판했다.
한편 포스코는 한국노동조합총연맹(한국노총) 소속인 포스코노조와 민주노총 소속인 포스코지회가 활동 중이다. 포스코노조가 제1노조로 조합원 6000여명이 소속돼 있고, 포스코지회는 3000여명 안팎으로 추산된다.
