[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경상남도가 후원하고 경남메세나협회가 주최하는 ‘2022 경남메세나대회’가 문화예술인과 기업인 등이 참석한 가운데 6일 오후 창원 인터내셔널호텔에서 개최했다.
이번 행사는 올해 지역의 문화예술에 기여한 기업과 개인의 공로를 기리고, 문화예술 후원 활동을 결산하며 기업인과 문화예술인의 교류와 친선을 도모하고 격려하기 위해 마련됐다.
메세나대상은 지역의 문화예술 발전에 기여한 공적을 인정받은 기업과 개인에게 대상, 메세나인상, 문화경영상, 문화공헌상, 아트앤비즈니스상(Arts&Business상), 문화예술유망주상, 총 6개 부문에 걸쳐 수여됐다.
올해 경남메세나 영예의 대상은 범한퓨얼셀 정영식 회장이 수상했다. 2010년부터 후원을 시작해 경남관악단, 경남리틀예술단 등을 지원하고, 지역민과 문화예술로 보다 행복하게 소통하는 것을 철학으로 삼으며 예술가들의 활동을 지원한 공로를 인정받았다.

예술인 후원활동에 모범을 보인 개인에게 수여되는 메세나인 상은 예술을 향유하는 것은 내면을 향기롭게 만든다고 강조하며 도민의 행복한 삶을 위해 지역예술단체를 지원하고 있는 조우성 ㈜영광산업 대표에게 돌아갔다.
