‘2022 학교예술교육 공모전’에서 대전 대신초가 대상을 수상했다.
학교-지역연계 학교예술교육과정 우수사례에서 대전여고가 최우수상을, 대전대문초가 우수상을 차지했다.
7일 대전교육청에 따르면 지난달 28일 교육부가 주최하고 학교예술교육중앙지원단(한국교육과정평가원)이 주관한 '2022 학교예술교육 공모전’에서 2개 부문, 3건의 교육부장관상을 수상했다.
학교예술교육 공모전은 학교예술교육 활성화를 위해 학교의 다양한 우수사례를 발굴o보급함으로써 학교 내 예술교육 강화와 교육력 제고를 목적으로 하는 전국 단위 대회이다.
학생예술동아리 분야에서 대상을 받은 대신초는 코로나19 상황에서도 최근 3년 동안 ‘지역 전통을 잇는 함성소리 명품 예술학교’라는 주제로 예술꽃씨앗학교(2011∼2014)와 새싹학교(2015∼2016) 운영해 학교예술교육의 우수성을 인정받았다.
대전여고는 예술교육 전용공간인 ‘이룸갤러리’ 에서 작가 섭외와 기획전을 개최하는 등 학교가 지역사회의 예술 플랫폼으로서 역할을 톡톡히 한 사례로 최우수상을 받았다.
또 대문초는 한밭도서관, 산성도서관, 대전학생교육문화원, 예술인의 집 등 지역 예술자원을 활용 주제융합 학교예술교육 프로그램과 학습 모델을 개발해 학생들에게 폭넓은 예술 활동을 경험할 수 있도록 기회를 제공했다.
대전교육청 김석중 체육예술건강과장은 “그동안 학교와 교사들이 우리 학생들을 위해 쏟은 노력과 열정들이 공모전 수상이라는 훌륭한 성과로 나타났고, 앞으로도 대전의 미래 교육이 예술교육을 통해 계속 성장할 것이라고 기대한다.”라고 말했다.
