[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 8일 오전 접견실에서 BNK경남은행이 동절기 취약계층 겨울나기를 위한 ‘연말 사랑나눔 물품’을 기탁했다고 밝혔다.
BNK경남은행은 어려운 이웃의 따뜻한 겨울나기를 지원하고자 김장김치 1600상자와 겨울이불 500채를 기탁해, 읍·면·동을 통해 겨울철 위기 가구에 지원될 계획이다.
최홍영 경남은행장은 “먹거리 물가가 많이 올라 한숨 쉬는 이웃과 독거노인, 장애인가구, 1인가구 등 어려움을 함께 극복하기 위해 겨울의 필수 물품인 김장과 따뜻한 이불을 지원하여 겨울을 잘 이겨 내기를 바라는 마음으로 준비했다”며 “겨울나기 물품이 꼭 필요한 곳에 잘 전달되길 바란다”고 전했다.
홍남표 창원특례시장은 “우리지역의 대표 은행으로서 매년 겨울이 되면 경남은행이 도움을 주어 우리 지역의 어려운 이웃분들이 따뜻한 겨울을 보낼 수 있어 다행이다. 한분 한분 빠짐없이 잘 전달될 수 있도록 하겠다”며 고마움을 전했다.
