[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도 민선 8기 첫 2022년 경남창원방산클러스터 협의회 제2차 정기회가 9일 경남TP에서 개최해 중앙과 지방정부가 함께 경남 방위산업 발전에 대해 논의했다.
이날 협의회는 경남도 류명현 산업통상국장과 방위사업청 김진홍 방위산업진흥국장, 체계기업, 국방기술진흥연구소 등 20개 기관의 위원들이 참석해 방산혁신클러스터사업 2022년 사업 추진현황, 지역협의회 내부 운영규정 개정(안), 2022년도 사업계획 일부 변경(안), 2023년 사업 추진계획(안)을 심의·의결했다.
방산혁신클러스터 사업은 방위사업청, 경남도, 창원시가 국비 250억 원, 지방비 240억 원을 투입해 공동으로 추진하는 사업으로, 방위산업에 지역 우수기업 참여를 유도하고 산, 학, 연, 군, 관 등 지역혁신 주체들의 역량을 모으는 방위산업 협력 생태계 구축을 핵심으로 추진하고 있다.
경남도는 올해 방산시험 협력기관 네트워크를 통한 시험평가 일정을 단축하고 기존 인프라 활용으로 도내 기업에 편리성을 제공해 29개 기업에 총 54회 시험지원을 했으며, 방산수출 유망국가 연계를 통해 수출 상담 58건, 수출 상담액 약 2,934만 7천 불 등 신규판로 개척에 힘을 쏟았다.
창원대와 경남대에서 운영 중인 첨단방산소재부품연구실(센터)은 연구개발 과제를 통하여 특허출원 19건, 논문발표 43건, 기술이전 1건 등 가시적인 성과를 도출했다.

이날 협의회에서는 올해 기업지원 주요 우수사례로 ▲고전압 전원장치의 국산화 기술 개발(예상매출 28.1억 원, 고용 8명, 특허 6건)로 국방벤처지원 사업(4억 원)으로 선정된 ‘㈜이레이’ ▲군용 네트워크 스위치 개발 성공을 통한 수입대체 및 국산화에 기여(예상매출 115억 원, 제품인증 획득)한 ‘(주)영풍전자’ 등이 소개됐다.
