[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 지난 13일 창원시 1인 창조기업 지원센터에서 12기 졸업식을 개최했다. 올해 졸업기업, 입주기업 30개사 중 25개사로 나머지 5개사는 입주 연장을 신청했고 1년간 센터에서 창업 활동을 더 이어나갈 예정이다.
2011년 중소벤처기업부로부터 1인 창조기업지원센터로 지정돼 개소한 이후, 올해까지 총 390개의 졸업기업을 배출했고, 이 중 255개 기업은 센터에서 예비창업자로 발굴해 창업으로 이끌어 냈다.
코로나19가 지속되는 어려운 여건 속에서도 연 97명의 고용 창출을 기록하는 등 성과를 거두었으며, 대표적인 졸업기업 엠링크(대표 이병문)는 특허 등록 2건, 작년 대비 매출이 35% 신장했고, 주승다휴공작소(대표 김민소)는 중소벤처기업부 지정 공공조달 상생협력사업과 조달청 지정 혁신조달제품에 선정되는 쾌거를 이루었다.
창원시 1인 창조기업 지원센터는 우수하고 참신한 아이템으로 창업에 도전하는 예비 및 초기 1인 창조기업을 대상으로 1년간 창업공간 제공, 사업화 지원, 경영·세무·법률·지식재산권 등 전문가 상담, 창업교육 등을 지원하고 있다.
기존에는 창업기간이 2년 미만인 창원시 거주자에 한해 지원할 수 있었지만, 2023년부터 거주지와 창업업력 제한을 완화해, 지난 2일 내년도 입주기업 모집을 마쳤다.
