【브레이크뉴스 울진】이우근 기자=한국수력원자력(주) 한울원자력본부(본부장 박범수)는 지난 15일 한울에너지팜(구 홍보관)에서 울진군 체육특기생 76명에게 장학금을 지급했다고 밝혔다.

한울본부는 2017년부터 대한체육회 소속인 체육특기생인 관내 중고등학생 선수 423명에게 장학금을 지급해왔다.
이날 사격 13명, 축구 59명, 요트 4명의 체육특기생 76명을 선발해 훈련 및 용품 보조비로 장학금 50만 원씩을 지급했다.
선정된 학생 선수들은‘전국 고등축구리그 전반기 준우승,‘전국해양스포츠제전 남자 중·고등부 3위,‘경북사격대회 남중부 공기소총 단체 2위’등 국내대회에서 수상하며 높은 성장 잠재력을 드러냈다.
이날 전달식에 참석한 울진중학교 교사는 “지역 인재에 대한 한울본부의 아낌없는 지원으로 학생들이 운동에 전념할 수 있을 것”이라며 감사를 전했다.
한울원자력본부 박범수 본부장은 “꿈을 위해 노력하는 학생들에게 아낌없는 격려와 응원을 보내겠다”며, “지역을 빛내는 인재로 성장하길 바란다”라고 격려했다.

Hanul Headquarters Delivers Scholarships to Uljin-gun Sports Dreamers
