브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= bhc그룹의 대학생 봉사 단체인 ‘해바라기 봉사단’이 아동복지시설에서의 봉사 활동을 끝으로 올해 활동을 마무리했다.
bhc그룹은 20일 보도자료를 통해 해바라기 봉사단 6기 2조가 지난 17일 서울 마포구에 위치한 아동복지시설인 엘림지역아동센터를 찾아 환경미화 및 방역 키트 제작 봉사활동을 진행했다고 밝혔다.
봉사단 6기 2조 단원들은 이날 아동센터를 방문해 아이들이 겨울철 독감과 환절기 질병으로부터 예방할 수 있도록 준비해 간 손소독제와 휴대용 비누로 구성된 방역 키트 제작을 시작으로 봉사활동을 펼쳤다.
아이들의 보금자리 정돈과 화단 청소를 비롯한 미화 활동을 진행했다. 다양한 청소 용품과 성탄절을 맞아 방역 키트도 함께 선물로 전달했다.
bhc그룹은 해바라기 봉사단 6기의 활동이 마무리됨에 따라 현재 새해 봉사단을 이끌어 나갈 7기 봉사단을 모집하고 있다. 대학생 누구나 지원이 가능하며, bhc그룹은 활동 기간 동안 매월 활동비 지급을 비롯해 1년간 활동 우수단원을 선정해 소정의 장학금을 지급할 예정이다.
bhc그룹 관계자는 “대표적인 대학생 봉사 단체로 자리 잡은 해바라기 봉사단의 7기 단원 모집에 많은 대학생들의 많은 관심과 지원을 바란다”며 “내년에도 봉사단에 대한 아낌없는 지원을 통해 미래를 이끌어갈 청년들에게 함께하는 사회적 가치를 공유할 수 있도록 노력해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
