[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 김해시는 통계청에서 주관하는 2022년 통계업무 진흥 유공기관으로 국무총리 표창을 수상하는 영예를 안았다고 21일 밝혔다.
이번 포상은 통계청이 2022년 전국사업체조사 및 광업·제조업조사 등 대규모 경제통계조사에 기여한 기관과 공무원의 공로를 격려하고 성공적인 통계조사 성과를 공유하기 위해 마련됐다.
김해시는 통계조사의 차질 없는 수행을 위해 지역 실정에 맞는 체계적인 계획 수립과 우수한 조사요원 채용 및 전문 교육, 다양한 홍보 방법을 활용, 정책 및 연구의 기초자료인 통계자료를 충실히 생산해 냈다는 평가를 받았다.
특히, 코로나19 상황을 고려해 조사요원 사전 진단검사실시, 거리두기 철저, 개인위생 수칙 준수 등 빈틈없는 방역으로 단 한 건의 안전사고 없이 완료한 점도 인정받았다.
올해 실시한 경제통계조사 결과는 12월 말 공표할 예정이며, 지역 경제정책 수립과 산업연관 분석, 연구자료 제공 등 다양한 방면에서 활용될 예정이다.
